Foals frontman Yannis Philippakis has revealed he has collaborated with Underworld's Karl Hyde.

Speaking to BBC Radio 6 Music, Philippakis explained that he worked with Hyde on a number of tracks after meeting him at a festival. "There's no agenda, hopefully they'll come out at some point," he said of the songs.

Foals wound up their UK tour with two dates at London's Alexandra Palace over the weekend (February 14-15). The Oxford band go on to top the bill at both Parklife and Bestival this summer, having made their major festival headline debut at Latitude last year. The band have promised that their headline slots will be "bigger" than ever and have even said they may use pyrotechnics during the shows.

Speaking to Gigwise, Philippakis said: "I've never been to Parklife before, but we've played Bestival two times and that was amazing. It's also such a prestigious line-up and to be alongside OutKast is weird, as obviously they're on a different level from us - but it'll be fun. We'll bring the party on Saturday."

When asked how the shows will differ from their festival appearances last year, Philippakis replied: "There will be bigger production stuff and we'll probably play some different songs. Or we might choose to play all the same songs as usual, but in a different order. We might mix it up a little and throw some pyro in there too, although we haven't really thought about the details yet."
