Folk Implosion
will release the first single off their new album next month, and have also announced details of a UK tour.

'Brand New Skin', taken from the album 'The New Folk Implosion', will be released on April 21.

As previously reported on NME.COM, the band are currently starring in the film 'Laurel Canyon', in which the group play a Britpop band battling to write a hit single. The film, starring Kate Beckinsaale and Christian Bale, opens in the US on March 7.

The tour will also give fans a chance to meet new Folk Implosion member Imaad Wasif.

The band will play the following dates:

Glasgow Cont. Center for Arts Sat 26 Apr
Edinburgh Venue (27)
London University Union (29)
Brighton Concorde (30)
