FOO FIGHTERS have announced details of Australasian tour dates in support of their current album ‘IN YOUR HONOR’ – and they’ll be taking US tour buddies Kaiser Chiefs along for the ride.

‘In You Honour’ is currently into its fifth week at Number One on the Australian charts, with the album going two times platinum in Australia and platinum in New Zealand.

The tour follows the band’s whirlwind trip Down Under in May, where they played a handful of surprise gigs to showcase new tracks in Sydney and Melbourne.

At present, [a][/a] will only play the Australian shows, with supports for the New Zealand leg of the tour to be announced shortly.

The dates are:

Wellington Entertainment Centre (November 25)
Auckland Supertop (26)
Brisbane Entertainment Centre (28)
Sydney Superdome (December 1)
Perth Rock It Festival (4)
Melbourne Rod Laver Arena (6)

Tickets go on sale August 8, with presales – subject to conditions – available through www.frontiertouring.com.au from August 3.
