Tenacious D to stage Hurricane Katrina benefit

And loads of their famous pals will be there

Tenacious D have organized a concert in aid of Hurricane Katrina victims.

Dave Grohl, Queens Of The Stone Age frontman Josh Homme, Eagles Of Death Metal singer Jesse \'The Devil\' Hughes and Fiona Apple are all set to take part in the benefit taking place September 22nd at the Los Angeles Wiltern Theater.

Comedians David Cross and Sarah Silverman have also been recruited for the event.

This is the second benefit this year put on by the Jack Black fronted group. In January, they staged a show for survivors of the tsunami in Asia.

Tickets for the event go on sale this Friday (September 16), with proceeds from the show going to the American Red Cross .
