Tickets for Foo Fighters' gigs at Milton Keynes Bowl next summer go on sale today (November 5) at 9am (GMT) – with Dave Grohl telling NME the band's new album will be perfect for big outdoor gigs.

The band are set to play Milton Keynes on July 2 and 3 next year. To check the availability of Foo Fighters tickets and get all the latest listings, go to NME.COM/TICKETS now, or call 0871 230 1094.

It had been rumoured that the band will also headline next year's T In The Park festival, set to take place a few days after the Milton Keynes dates. When asked about that festival and playing possible further shows Grohl confirmed to NME that Foo Fighters will be playing "big ones" – although he said he was sworn to secrecy for the moment.

He did, however, reveal details of the band's forthcoming new album, set for release in the first half of 2011, suggesting it's tailor made for big outdoor shows.

"I want to play the album at night live in front of 70,000 people," declared Grohl. "It's a festival album because it fucking rocks!"

For the full Foo Fighters interview get the new issue of NME, on newsstands across the UK, or available digitally worldwide right now.
