Foo Fighters are set to play a series of gigs in fans' garages next month.

Dave Grohl's band have launched a new competition whereby the winners will have the band turn up and rock out in their garages in front of 50 of their friends.

Fans have to live in or near New York, Denver, Chicago, Washington DC, Seattle, Minneapolis or Toronto to enter.

To be in with a chance of winning they have to submit a 25-word entry outlining why they should host Grohl's group.

See Foofightersgaragetour.com for entry details.

Meanwhile, in other Foo Fighters news, Grohl recently slammed Glee creator Ryan Murphy for his attitude towards signing up bands for the show.
