Foo Fighters will release their documentary film Back And Forth on DVD and Blu-ray in June.

The feature-length movie was shown in over 100 UK cinemas on April 7, and will now get a digital iTunes release on June 6 with a DVD and Blu-ray release on June 13.

Rockdaily is reporting that the release will feature an extra 35 minutes of new footage of the band, compared to the original VH1 and cinema version of the film.

Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins previously told NME that he wasn't feeling good about the release of the film. He said he wished "we wouldn't put the fucking movie out to be honest because I'm not really comfortable with the public sort of openness, I'm really not."

Back And Forth chronicles the band's career from 1994 through to the present day.
