Former Glee actor arrested for alleged possession of child pornography

Mark Salling played Puck in the series about the high school a cappella group

Mark Salling, best known for his role as Noel ‘Puck’ Puckerman in the musical comedy-drama Glee was arrested this morning (December 29) on charges of possession of child pornography.

LAPD officer Liliana Preciado confirmed the news that he had been arrested following a search warrant by LAPD’s Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force at the 33-year-old’s home in Sunland, LA.

TMZ sources say that the police have seen “more than a thousand images of ‘child sexual exploitation’ on Salling’s computer”, and have seized his other electronic devices.

Representatives for Salling have not yet commented on the news.

It is not Salling’s first run-in with the law. He was sued for sexual assault and battery in 2011, by his then-girlfriend, Roxanne Gorzela, who claimed that he had had unprotected sex with her after she asked him to wear a condom.

Salling later filed a lawsuit against Gorzela for defamation of character.
