FOXY BROWN IN CAR RAP

Yet another US rap star had up on driving offences...

FOXY BROWN IN CAR RAP

US rapper FOXY BROWN has been charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle after crashing her car in New York on Monday night (March 6), according to US news reports.

Brown, real name Inga Marchand, was driving through her native Brooklyn at approximately 6.10pm when she crashed her Range Rover into a barrier at 22 Chapel Street.

On arrival, New York police found Brown to be driving without a licence, after it was suspended due to an earlier driving offence. She was then charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle.

Following the crash, Brown was admitted overnight to Long Island College Hospital for tests to her neck and shoulders, although she was released the following morning (Tuesday 7).

This latest offence comes only days after fellow rapper DMX was arrested for driving without a licence and in possession of marijuana in Buffalo, NY following a gig in the city. Ironically, it was rumoured DMX and Foxy Brown were dating in October of last year, after both were namechecked in Kurupt's, track 'Calling Out Names'. Foxy Brown is Kurupt's ex-girlfriend.

A date for her court appearance has yet to be set.
