Despite being incarcerated at Riker’s Island prison in New York, rapper Foxy Brown is still maintaining her wardrobe with accessories.

According to a report in today’s New York Post , the rapper, whose real name is Inga Marchand, wears Gucci and Louis Vuitton trainers with her prison jumpsuit, and when they get dirty she is brought a new pair.

But according to a friend, she is alienating those around her in prison, and is still separated from other inmates, despite being released early from solitary confinement.

Geoffrey Davis, who has visited Brown several times since she was locked up in October says that "If they release her today, she'll be back in a week. I think she needs clinical help with anger management.”

"She has to deal with her attitude," says Davis who runs a nonprofit, anti-violence organisation in Brooklyn.

The rapper was sent to prison after violating probation in August. She is due to be released in September 2008.
