PEACE FOX!

FOXY BROWN has made a peace offering in her ongoing feud with rival rapper LIL' KIM, following a shooting in incident in NEW YORK to which the pair were linked.

On February 25, one man was hospitalised following a gun battle outside the Greenwich Village radio station Hot 97, WQHT.

US media have been speculating the track 'Bang Bang' on the Capone-N-Noreaga album 'The Reunion', which features Brown as a guest rapper, may have been the catalyst for the incident.

All three have constantly denied any involvement in the incident, and there is no accusation from police that any of the rappers fired any of the shots.

However, speaking to MTV news in the US, Brown said she is keen to "call a truce" with Kim.

She said: "I really don't know how it started. But Russell Simmons (Chair of Brown's label Def Jam) and I, we got together, and I said, 'Russell, I want to call a truce.' I want to have a sit-down with Kim. I don't care what it is. Let's just end it. We can even do collaboration. We're bigger than this. If it has to start with me, let it start with me."

It is unclear how Kim will respond to the offering.

The shooting remains under investigation, but no arrests have yet been made.
