Ex PIXIE Frank Black plays a one-off London at London LA2 on May 24.
The new Frank Black & The Catholics album 'Pistolero' - follow-up to their eponymous debut from last year - was released on Monday.
Kurt Cobain revealed that 'Debaser' by The Pixies was the inspiration for 'Smells Like Teen Spirit'.
Radiohead have also been vocal in naming him as an influence.
