Frank Turner has called Biffy Clyro frontman Simon Neil one of his 'go-to' people for advice.

Turner - who has covered the Scottish band's 2007 track 'Who's Got A Match?' on his new 'Polaroid Picture' EP - spoke about his relationship with Neil to Gigwise, commenting:

"Simon from Biffy has been a really decent human being to me over the past couple of years because he's one of my go-to people for advice. Obviously what they do is a couple of steps ahead of what I do from a business point of view, but he's been a really good friend in terms of giving me his thoughts."

Frank Turner also covers Frightened Rabbit's 'The Modern Leper' on the the five-track EP, which is released on February 3. Turner explained that he 'bullied' the band's singer Scott Hutchison into being his friend, saying: "I kept tracking him down at festivals at shouting 'hi' and he kept whimpering and replying 'I don't know who you are'." Speaking about a possible collaboration with Frightened Rabbit, Turner said: "Scott and I have long conversations about songwriting and playing together - whether or not will ever amount to anything in the sober light of day is a different question. Maybe, we'll see."

The EP release coincides with Turner's upcoming arena tour, which takes place throughout February. Starting on February 6 in Cardiff, the tour will conclude in Portsmouth on February 13. Ticket details for the tour can be seen below.
