Frankie And The Heartstrings have recorded their own Christmas message, complete with drummer Dave Harper dressed as the Queen.

Scroll down now to watch the video message, which the band have uploaded to their YouTube account.

In it, Harper speaks semi-mockingly of the past year, referencing England's World Cup bid and giving his views on the effects the recession has had on "the little people". He also refers to Prime Minister David Cameron as "the one who looks like a baby with hair", before comparing him to Margaret Thatcher.
