The former band of Alex Kapranos are to re-release an album which has been changing hands for big money on the Internet...

Franz Ferdinand helmsman ALEX KAPRANOS’ former band THE KARELIA are to re-release their album next month.



’Divorce At High Noon’ was originally released in 1997 and featured Kapranos, then named Alex Huntley, on vocals and guitar.



Original copies of the album have been exchanging hands on the Internet for more than £50 each.


The new version of the album is released on February 21 and is backed with bonus tracks ‘Divorce At High Noon’ (French version) and ‘Love’s A Cliché’(single version), as well as the video for ‘Love’s A Cliché’.
