Franz Ferdinand’s Alex Kapranos is kicking off his brand new weekly food column in tomorrow's (September 16) Guardian newspaper.
Called Soundbites, it will follow the singer and band’s food related adventures as they travel the world on their forthcoming global tour.
The first column will appear in tomorrow’s G2 section of paper, and will see Kapranos write about his days working as a chef alongside Franz bassist Bob Hardy in a Glasgow restaurant - plus the time he ate mole in a Mexican convent.
Franz Ferdinand release their second album ‘You Could Have It So Much Better’ on October 3.
