Franz Ferdinand have announced details of a live webchat.

The group will be talking to fans on Wednesday (January 25). The event, scheduled to take place while the band are in Sydney, Australia, will be hosted on the band's website, franzferdinand.co.uk, and will happen between 11-12pm GMT. (10-11am EST on January 26).

All four members of the band will be fielding questions from registered members of the website. Fans who are not already registered on the site should go to the following address to register - franzferdinand.co.uk/register.

The band are currently on tour in Australia and New Zealand as part of the Big Day Out festival. They are also playing a number of smaller club shows. Franz then head to Japan and the Far East, before going to South America for a number of shows, including support slots with U2 in Sao Paulo and Buenos Aires.

Franz Ferdinand are then tipped to play a ‘club’ tour of the UK this spring.
