Franz Ferdinand confirm new single

‘The Fallen’ will be the Scots’ next release

Franz Ferdinand have confirmed the release of their next single, 'The Fallen'.

The band have selected the opening track from ‘You Could Have It So Much Better’ as the next track to be lifted from the LP, and it will come out on March 27.

B-sides for the single, which comes out on two CDs and a seven-inch, are currently being confirmed but will include a remix by French DJ duo Justice.

Meanwhile, Franz Ferdinand are currently touring in Australia as part of the Big Day Out festival, they then head to Japan before supporting U2 in South America.

The single is also been released in Australia, though it comes out a month earlier on February 20.
