Weekend tickets snapped up in record time

Weekend tickets for this year's Carling Weekend: Reading and Leeds Festivals have sold out in record time.

The briefs for both sites sold out within one hour of going on sale through internet outlets yesterday evening (April 3), while tickets at HMV stores sold out within minutes of the doors opening this morning. Some stores reported queues starting at 2am.

A limited number of day tickets, priced £60, are still available.
