Franz Ferdinand have announced an intimate warm-up show in London next month.

The Scottish indie titans will gear up for their headline appearance at the Carling Weekend Reading and Leeds Festivals with an intimate performance at London’s Kentish Town Forum on August 23. Support will come from Tapes 'N Tapes.

It will be the smallest show the band have played since their appearance at the Scala in September last year, where they launched the ‘You Could Have It So Much Better’ album.

Tickets go on sale tomorrow (July 25) morning at 9.30am. For availability go to NME.COM/Gigs.
