Band's South American adventures shot by acclaimed director
Franz Ferdinand have unveiled details of a forthcoming tour diary to be screened next month.
The 30-minute documentary is an abridged version of an hour-long film which captures the band on the road during a two-week spell in South America.
The movie, shot by acclaimed director Don Letts, documents the band's sold-out headline shows in Chile, Brazil and Argentina, their support slots with U2 plus the recording of new songs 'Wine In The Afternoon' and 'Ghost in Rio'.
There is also some rare offstage footage of the band enjoying the carnival in Rio.
It will be aired on Channel 4 on the night of September 24.
