Band unveil 'lyrical drunken waltz'
A brand new track by Franz Ferdinand is to feature on the soundtrack to a soon-to-be-released movie.
The track, ‘Hallam Foe Dandelion Blow’, was recorded during the band’s most recent tour of Latin America, and is described on the band’s official website franzferdinand.co.uk as a “lyrical drunken waltz”.
The film, ‘Hallam Foe’, focuses on teenager Hallam (Jamie Bell), who falls into a voyeuristic way of life after becoming convinced of foul play surrounding his mother's suicide. It’s due out in 2007.
Sons & Daughters, Psapp and Kieran Hebden (Four Tet) also feature on the record.
