Franz Ferdinand had spoken about a possible collaboration with Sparks.
expressed his admiration for the electro duo in a BBC Radio 2 documentary ’This Town Ain’t Big Enough For Both Of Us - The Story Of Sparks’ which is due to be broadcast on January 20 at 8pm.
In it Kapranos said: “We’d love to do a collaboration with Sparks at some point. We’re huge fans of their albums…they had a really oblique, dangerous attitude and they are eccentric about it.”
As previously reported, Kapranos is currently producing The Cribs new album, which is to be titled ’Man’s Needs, Woman’s Needs, Whatever’.
