Franz Ferdinand are set to play small shows in Glasgow and New York within the next few weeks.
Bassist Bob Hardy posted a MySpace bulletin revealing the plans, and says that the band are planning to preview new material at the shows.
The message said : “Hi, just a quick bulletin to tell you that we’re planning a couple of small shows in Glasgow and one in New York in the next few weeks. We’ll be trying out some new songs and inviting some other bands that we like to play with us. We’ll let you know the details in the next few days, hopefully see you there.”
The gigs will warm-up the band for their forthcoming slot at the Bonnaroo festival, taking place June 14-17 in Manchester, Tennessee.
Stay tuned for NME.COM for dates and venues of the shows, which will be revealed shortly.
