Scottish rockers kick off shows in Paris in November

Franz Ferdinand have announced details of a European winter tour.

The Scottish rockers, who played five new songs at the Hydro Connect Festival last week, will kick off their jaunt in Paris on November 13.

Tickets for the tour are available from today (September 8).

Franz Ferdinand will play:

Paris La Cigalle (November 13)
Stockholm Debaser Medis (15)
Berlin Kesselhaus (17)
Warsaw Stodola (19)
Milan Magazzini Generali (21)
Barcelona Espacio Moviestar (24)
Rotterdam WATT (27)


The band plan to release the follow-up to their 2005 Number One album 'You Could Have It So Much Better' in early 2009.

There a brilliant band but they've taken so long with there new album it's unbelievable. Instead of expermenting with "parts of old russian airplanes" get your record out and come to Birminghan please. This record has taken far to long it better be as good as Morning Glory or else Mr Kapranos haha........
