Franz Ferdinand will be the first band to perform on 'Friday Night With Jonathan Ross' when the show returns later this month.
The presenter was suspended last year when he and Russell Brand prank called actor Andrew Sachs on air, and made supposedly offensive remarks.
Ross was suspended from broadcasting on the BBC in October, while Brand, who hosted the show in which the comments were made, resigned.
The show will return on January 23, when Franz Ferdinand will play their forthcoming new single, 'Ulysses', to close the show.
Ross will return to BBC Radio 2 a day later, on January 24.
