Franz Ferdinand for free London show

Alex Kapranos and co to play iTunes Live festival

Franz Ferdinand have been announced as set to play a free gig in London as part of the iTunes Live festival.

Alex Kapranos and co, who play on July 6, will join the likes of Oasis, Snow Patrol and Kasabian, who will also play shows as part of the gig series, which will see a show a night take place at the Roundhouse venue in Camden.

Tickets for the shows will be free to fans who win them through iTuneslive.co.uk.

The iTunes Live line-up so far is:

Flo Rida (July 4)
Snow Patrol (5)
Franz Ferdinand (6)
Paolo Nutini (10)
Oasis (21)
Kasabian (22)
The Saturdays (27)
