Franz Ferdinand have announced that they will be releasing two new remix EPs next month.

The EPs consist of remixes of tracks from the 'Covers EP' that the band released for Record Store Day in 2011. You can hear both EPs in full by scrolling down to the bottom of the page and clicking.

The first EP features remixes by Toby Tobias, Wild Geese & David Maloso. The second has remixes from Brennan Green and dOP. Both EPs will be released on March 19.

Franz Ferdinand, who haven't played a billed gig for more than two years, are preparing to make their live comeback this summer, with dates at Primavera Sound, Open'er and London's Field Day booked.

The band are currently thought to be working on new material for their fourth studio album.
