Franz Ferdinand launch ticket lottery for small August shows

The band will play shows in London and Glasgow

Franz Ferdinand have announced details of two August shows in London and Glasgow.

Fans must enter a ticket lottery to be in with a chance of purchasing tickets for the shows. For a chance to buy tickets, apply here. Applications close at midday on Friday (July 19), after which randomly selected successful applicants will be contacted with further details about how to buy tickets. Tickets will be priced at £25 plus booking fee in London, and £22.50 plus booking fee in Glasgow and are limited to two per person.

Franz Ferdinand will play:

London Brixton Electric (August 20)
Glasgow QMU (21)


The shows follow their recent last-minute tiny gig at The Victoria pub in London's Dalston on July 5.

Earlier this month, Franz Ferdinand unveiled the video for their new single 'Right Action' – watch it below. The track, produced by Hot Chip's Joe Goddard and Alexis Taylor, is the lead single from the band's new album 'Right Thoughts, Right Words, Right Action'. The record, which will be the band's fourth and is set to be released on August 26, will feature guest vocals from Roxanne Clifford of Veronica Falls and Todd Terje and Bjorn Yttling of Peter Bjorn and John.
