Speaking about the video, the band called it: "Absurdist horror pantomime choreography cross-dress frog-head bosom sparkle guillotine phew worra scorcha". The song is available now as a digital download or on double A-sided pink 7" vinyl with 'Right Action'.

Earlier this month, Franz Ferdinand unveiled the video for 'Right Action'. The track, produced by Hot Chip's Joe Goddard and Alexis Taylor, is the lead single from the band's new album 'Right Thoughts, Right Words, Right Action'. The record, which will be the band's fourth and is set to be released on August 26, will feature guest vocals from Roxanne Clifford of Veronica Falls and Todd Terje and Bjorn Yttling of Peter Bjorn and John.

Franz Ferdinand recently announced details of two August shows in London and Glasgow. Fans had to enter a ticket lottery to be in with a chance of purchasing tickets for the shows. Franz Ferdinand will play London Brixton Electric on August 20 and Glasgow QMU on August 21. Earlier this week they played a tiny show at New York's Glasslands venue and will be playing Los Angeles' Echoplex on July 30.

The shows follow their recent last-minute tiny gig at The Victoria pub in London's Dalston on July 5.
