Freelance Whales get audience involved during Reading Festival set

Brooklyn band also swap instruments throughout their Festival Republic show

Freelance Whales showcased debut album 'Weathervanes' during their Reading Festival set today (August 28), swapping instruments at numerous points throughout their set.

The Brooklyn band played the Festival Republic Stage to an enthusiastic crowd, and brought along a wide variety of musical instruments.

With members swapping banjos, harmoniums, glockenspiels and even guitars and basses throughout the set, they even tried to get the audience to join in at one point.

"I like that clapping, it's like a metronome," multi-instrumentalist Chuck Criss said.
