Friendly Fires had the Reading Festival dancing out of their tent and into the market areas as they played a frenetic set tonight (August 28).

The St Albans band filled the NME/Radio 1 Stage to capacity, and a large number of fans were forced to peer in from the outside.

However, with the Mercury Prize-nominated group in the mood to party, they quickly had the crowd moving their feet to the likes of 'Jump In The Pool' and frenzied opener 'Lovesick'.

With the euphoric scenes - including a solitary flag breaking the event's ban - continuing for forthcoming single 'Kiss Of Life', the band worked the packed crowd into a frenzy with the likes of 'Photobooth' and 'Paris' before capping a real Reading Festival moment with closing song 'Ex Lover'.

Friendly Fires played:

'Lovesick'
'Jump In The Pool'
'Skeleton Boy'
'In The Hospital'
'White Diamonds'
'Kiss Of Life'
'Photobooth'
'On Board'
'Paris'
'Ex Lover'
