Bloc Party's Kele Okereke, Friendly Fires for Parklife Festival

Plus Calvin Harris and Simian Mobile Disco to DJ at Manchester event

Friendly Fires and Bloc Party's Kele Okereke are among the acts announced for the Parklife festival in Manchester.

With Bloc Party on hiatus, Okereke is working on a solo album expected to be released later in 2010. He has also announced that he will play an Ibiza Rocks gig this August.

The event will take place across four stages at Platt Fields on June 12. Calvin Harris and Simian Mobile Disco will play DJ slots, while Magnetic Man, Four Tet and Toddla T are also on the bill.
