Friendly Fires have covered Lady Gaga's recent single 'The Edge Of Glory', scroll down to the bottom of the page and click to hear it.

The trio, who released their second album 'Pala' earlier this year, covered the track, although sadly without an attempt at the saxophone solo provided by the sadly now deceased Clarence Clemons, while they were in BBC Radio 1's Live Lounge earlier today (July 21). They also performed a rendition of their new single 'Hawaiian Air'.

Friendly Fires have also announced a third show at London's O2 Academy Brixton for their November tour. The band will now headline the venue on November 24 as well as November 25 and 26.

The new date is part of the band's UK largest headline gigs to date and will come at the end of a 12-date tour, which begins at O2 Academy Bristol on November 10.

Friendly Fires will now play:

O2 Academy Bristol (November 10)
O2 Academy Birmingham (11)
Southampton Guildhall (12)
Nottingham Rock City (14)
Newcastle O2 Academy (15)
Manchester O2 Apollo (17)
Glasgow Barrowlands (18)
