Friendly Fires have been forced to cancel another show on their UK tour due to illness.

The band have already been forced to shelve shows in Southampton, Nottingham and Newcastle and have now had to postpone their show at Manchester's O2 Apollo, which was due to take place on Thursday (November 17).

The reason for the postponement is that frontman Ed MacFarlane is still struggling to overcome a viral throat infection and is too ill to perform. The band have promised to reschedule all four cancelled performances, but have yet to name the new dates.

The band are next scheduled to perform at O2 Academy Glasgow on Friday (November 18) and that show is presently still set to go ahead, though ticket holders are advised to keep checking for updates throughout the week.

Friendly Fires released their second album 'Pala' earlier this year, you can watch a video of the band giving NME a track by track guide to the album by scrolling down to the bottom of the page and clicking.
