WALKING ON EIRE!

He's half-Irish you know...

WALKING ON EIRE!
FUN LOVIN' CRIMINALS frontman HUEY MORGAN has bought a stake in a bar, VOODOO LOUNGE, in DUBLIN.

A spokesperson for the singer told NME.COM that Huey was involved in the venture with several others not thought to be involved with the music industry.

Reports have suggested these include Nick Cohen, a New York club promoter, and two Dublin publicans. Huey has reportedly said he hopes that the venue will be "a dark den of reggae, R&B, hip-hop, house and Caribbean music".

"I'm half-Irish myself," he added. "I like the vibes in Dublin. It's very relaxed and that appeals to me."

Di Fontaines, the Fun Lovin' Criminals' long-mooted central London eaterie, is finally set to open sometime in 2001. However, the exact whereabouts have yet to revealed, with a spokesperson able only to say that it looked like being situated in either Covent Garden or Soho.
