Frontman with Fun Lovin' Criminals and BBC 6Music radio DJ Huey Morgan will play his debut solo show next week in London.

Morgan will perform at O2 Academy 2 Islington on February 10. He took to Twitter to announce the news, writing: "Is doing my FIRST ever solo show @ the Academy 2 Islington on Friday February 10th. I'm on around 7:30. Come early! Jeah! To clarify- I'm opening up for the Johnny Cash tribute band, Cash. I'll be playing my new songs for the first time ever! Thx."

He later wrote that he hoped the show would be the "first of many".

Fun Lovin' Criminals released their sixth album, 'Classic Fantastic', in 2010. Their debut album, 'Come Find Yourself', was released in 1996 and featured the Quentin Tarantino sampling single 'Scooby Snacks'. It was followed in 1998 by '100% Columbian'.

Huey Morgan has been a BBC 6Music DJ since 2008 and also appears on BBC Radio 2.
