42,000 tickets for the immersive experience sold out in four hours last week

Tickets to the newly extended run of dates for Secret Cinema’s immersive screenings of Back To The Future go on sale from 1pm today.

The initial run of 42,000 tickets sold out in four hours last week. The new run of shows takes place from August 14 to August 31.

The production will see Secret Cinema recreate the town of Hill Valley in a secret London location, with secret alleys and entrances allowing them to ‘time travel’ between 1985 and 1955.

Alongside a screening of the film, there will be a recreation of the Enchantment Under The Sea prom and a Battle Of The Bands contest to determine who will play on stage each night and what the organisers are billing as a secret, headline high profile band.

Starring Michael J. Fox, Christopher Lloyd, and Lea Thompson, cult film Back To The Future was released in 1985.
