Gallows have announced plans for an intimate, one-off London show set to take place later this month.

The punk band will play the Sailor Jerry's Hotel Street venue on Charing Cross Road on June 22. The show comes ahead of the release of their new album, which is set to hit shelves in September. Tickets cost £3 and are on sale now.

Earlier this year, Wade MacNeil, the new frontman in Gallows, spoke out about the reaction he's been getting since he replaced Frank Carter as the band's singer. Carter quit the Watford punks in July last year and was replaced by MacNeil, who was formerly lead guitarist in Canadian hardcore band Alexisonfire.

Speaking to Front, MacNeil said that though he was aware he'd been well received by some Gallows fans, there were a lot who would simply not accept anyone else as the band's new frontman, especially in the UK . He said of this: "There's a lot of people that are rooting for me in the UK and they're a lot of people who against me. I'm excited to shove it down their throats."

Former Gallows frontman Frank Carter later told NME that he felt suicidal during his last few months in the band. Carter, who is currently recording his debut album with his new outfit Pure Love, said he was not bothered by what Gallows' fans thought of his new band and added that he "felt like a fake" by the time he quit the Watford punk band in 2011.

Asked if he was worried by what fans of his old band would make of his new outfit, Carter replied: "I don't give a fuck about any of them [Gallows fans]. It would be pointless me carrying on doing something that I don't want to do, I'd feel like a fake, which is how I felt for a year. I nearly topped myself."
