RED HEAVEN!

GARBAGE gave fans an early taste of their new album at an intimate show in LONDON last night (March 30).


The band chose the Scala club for their UK comeback show, only the second since completing fourth album 'Bleed Like Me'.


And for the show, which drew heavily on hits for their first three albums, Shirley Manson, Butch Vig, Steve Marker and Duke Erikson were joined by guest bassist Eric Avery – a founding member of Jane's
Addiction[/url].


As well as new single 'Why Do You Love Me?', the band played new songs 'Bad Boyfriend', 'Bleed Like Me', 'Sex Is Not The Enemy' and 'Right Between The Eyes'.


They took the stage to a recording of Johnny
Cash[/url]'s version of 'Hurt' by Nine Inch Nails, who also make their live comeback this week at London Astoria.


At one point, singer Manson – who wore a black backless evening dress – had to be helped up after falling down in her kitten heels, and had to be helped up. "I told you this would happen!" she cried.

release 'Bleed Like Me' on April 11, preceded by 'Why Do You Love Me?' on Monday (April 4). They play a sold out show at London Brixton Academy on June 9 and appear at the Download Festival later that month.
