Shirley Manson to cover John Lennon Garbage Tickets

Garbage frontwoman goes solo

Shirley Manson to cover John Lennon

Shirley Manson is set to cover a John Lennon track for a forthcoming benefit album.

The title of the track has yet to be revealed, but AOL reports that former Jane’s Addiction bassist Eric Avery is collaborating on the song.

Manson has been working on her solo album for the past year, and has already worked with Garbage Bond-theme collaborator David Arnold. Other famous names reported to appear on the record include Jack White and Billy Corgan, as well as fellow Scot Paul Buchanan of The Blue Nile.

Meanwhile, Garbage are gearing up for the release of their greatest hits album entitled ‘Absolute Garbage’, which is expected to hit the shelves in March.
