Take That mainman Gary Barlow has announced that he will play two solo headline shows in December.

The singer, who is currently serving as a judge on the new series of the X Factor, will play London's Royal Albert Hall on December 5 and 6.

The proceeds from the shows will be donated to the Princes' Trust, the charity overseen by Prince Charles.

Barlow has recently indicated that Take That are planning to take a lengthy break after their recent extensive UK stadium tour. The trek in question, the 'Progress Live' tour saw Take That perform to more than 1.6 million people throughout June and July, including a record-breaking eight nights at Wembley Stadium.
