Gary Barlow and his wife Dawn are mourning the loss of their baby daughter, who was delivered stillborn in London on Saturday (August 4).

Barlow announced that he and his wife were expecting their third child in February (2012). In April, he revealed the baby's gender, tweeting that "There's gonna be another girl in the Barlow household!".

On July 5, he told a fan on his website that his wife was doing "gr8 thanks" and had "7 weeks to go". Dawn was around eight months pregnant when she went into labour on Saturday.

In a statement released through a spokesperson last night (August 6), Barlow confirmed that their baby had been born without a pulse. His statement reads: "Dawn and I are devastated to announce that we've lost our baby. Poppy Barlow was delivered stillborn on August 4th in London. Our focus now is giving her a beautiful funeral and loving our three children with all our hearts. We'd ask at this painful time that our privacy be respected."

Gary Barlow met Dawn when she was a dancer on Take That's 'Never Forget' tour in 1995. They married five years later and have three children: 11-year-old Daniel, nine-year-old Emily and three-year-old Daisy. In June (2012), Barlow was named celebrity dad of the year.
