Gary Glitter 'may be detained for four months'
Ex-glam star may detained while he is investigated
Gary Glitter may be detained for four months in Vietnam while alleged sex abuse claims against him are investigated, according to reports.
The ex-glam rock star is currently being held at a prison outside the
southern coastal resort of Vung Tau, according to the BBC website.
Glitter’s lawyer, Le Thanh Kinh, said: “What newspapers reported is just hearsay but there has not been any medical certificates to prove there was child sex abuse and how it was conducted.”
Kinh said he was hoping to arrange for Glitter to be bailed before the terms of his detention officially ended on Monday (November 28).
