Gary Glitter ill in hospital
Disgraced rocker suffering from diarrhoea and an irregular heartbeat in prison ward
Gary Glitter is reported to be in hospital in Vietnam.
The glam rocker, who is currently serving a prison sentence in the country for molesting two underage girls, is being treated for diarrhoea and an irregular heartbeat, reports BBC News.
Glitter was taken to a prisoners’ clinic on January 4 suffering from stomach problems and doctors kept in after they found his heart was beating slower than normal.
Glitter was jailed in March 2006 for three years but his sentence was reduced in 2007 by three months.
He is due to complete the prison sentence in August this year.
Rumours of Glitter returning to the UK to finish his jail term remain unfounded.
