Gary Glitter to appeal against court order
Disgraced star must inform police if he wants to go abroad
Convicted paedophile Gary Glitter is appealing against a court order that requires him to notify police if he plans to travel abroad.
The fallen pop idol was served with the order after returning to the UK from Vietnam, where he served almost three years in prison for sex crimes against two girls.
Glitter, real name Paul Gadd, is not currently prevented from travelling abroad, but must inform police if he plans to be away for more than three days, reports BBC News.
The 'I'm The Leader Of The Gang' singer had an application to visit France and Spain turned down by Ashford Magistrates on September 25.
It was recently revealed that Glitter's former backing band, The Glitter Band, were considering releasing a comeback album.
