The Gaslight Anthem at Leeds Festival: 'It feels like home'

Plus Brian Fallon tells audience to watch Arcade Fire

The Gaslight Anthem have revealed that they feel like the UK is "home" during their Main Stage Leeds Festival set today (August 27).

The band played a mix of songs from their latest album 'American Slang' and their older records 'Sink Or Swim' and 'The 59' Sound' for their mid-afternoon performance.

Lead singer Brian Fallon told the crowd: "We've been whirling around the rest of Europe, and now I feel like we're home."

The Gaslight Anthem also praised two of the other bands on the bill.

Fallon said: "In my opinion you've got two of the best bands here, Modest Mouse and Arcade Fire. I just bought their record, have you bought it or did you download it, you stealers?"

The band battled through sound problems when Fallon's microphone cut out during 'American Slang', although normal service was quickly resumed.
