HARRISON'S HAIR A SNIP!

And it's going to be displayed in his own hairdressing museum...

HARRISON'S HAIR A SNIP!

A Spanish hairdresser has bought a lock of late Beatles GEORGE HARRISON's hair at an auction.

The hair, which was cut off Harrison in 1964, was sold for 1,400 euros (£967).

According to the BBC, Rafael Pages of Barcelona bought the lot to be displayed in his own hairdressing museum.

The authenticity was verified with photographs showing it being lopped off and a note from Harrison confirming it was his. It was sold at a pop memorabilia fair in the Spanish town of Girona.

Harrison died in 2001 after a long battle with cancer. He was 58.
