George Michael prepares for global tour
George Micheal
Singer comes out of hiding for first jaunt in 15 years
George Michael will kick off his 47-day world tour in Barcelona today (September 23).
The global Live 25 jaunt marks the singer's first tour in 15 years, and will feature 15 dates in the UK alone.
Each show will see Michael perform tracks from his back catalogue alongside several Wham classics.
Over the years the singer has shied away from playing live and concentrated on recording instead.
The last time Michael toured was during his Cover To Cover trek in 1991.
His current tour is being held to mark the star's 25-year anniversary in the music industry.
He will perform the following dates in the UK:
Manchester MEN Arena (November 17/18/21)
Glasgow SECC (22)
London Earls Court (25/26/28/29)
Birmingham NEC (December 2/3/4)
London Wembley Arena (11/12/14/15)
