After weekend incident

George Michael has been cautioned for cannabis possession following an incident in London on Sunday (October 1).

As previously reported by NME.COM, the singer was arrested on after motorists called police to report a car causing an obstruction at traffic lights in Cricklewood, in the north of the city.

Police confirmed that the driver was arrested on suspicion of being unfit to drive and drug possession.

They called an ambulance and Michael was taken to a west London hospital as a “precautionary measure” after being arrested.

Michael was then cautioned and released on police bail pending further inquiries.

The former Wham! singer began his first tour for 15 years in Barcelona last month (September 23).
